Enterprise Division Quotas
ShotDeck has just launched an exciting new feature for multi-seat Enterprise managers! You can now set quota limits for different divisions within your organization. This feature was highly requested by our users, and we’re thrilled to see how it will help make managing large teams even easier.
Quota limits are a perfect solution for larger organizations that need to break up their teams into smaller, more manageable groups. Take, for instance, a university professor of film studies who teaches several classes, each with 30 students. With the new quota limit feature, the professor can ensure that no more than 30 students join each division, keeping everything organized, streamlined, and secure, preventing any unauthorized use of the ShotDeck service.
Activating this feature is simple. Start by creating a division in the Advanced Features section on your account page. Once the division is set up, click on its name to access the settings. In the settings window, you can rename the division, set a user quota limit, set an expiration date, or delete the division entirely. If you leave the User Quota field blank, anyone from your organization can join or be assigned to the division, with the only limit being the number of seats in your subscription plan. Alternatively, you can enter a specific number, up to the total seats in your plan, to control how many users are allowed in the division.
We hope this feature makes managing your groups easier. Let us know if you have any great ideas for feature request. We’d love to hear from you!
